SMS Terms

Program name and description

The text-message program is called Hydratelo Waterline Notes (the "Program"). It is operated by Hydratelo, a brand of The Nelson M Group LLC. If you opt in, we deliver recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you supplied with educational information about health and beauty, confirmations and service messages, and (only if you separately agree) promotional announcements about new guides and resources.

Hydratelo is not a medical provider, clinic, pharmacy, retailer, or licensed professional. Choosing how to care for your skin, hair, or body is your own decision.

How to opt in

You can join by completing the form on our Get Started or SMS Notifications page and checking one or both of the separate, unchecked consent boxes: (1) informational texts, and (2) promotional texts. You can also text START to join at 877-270-1779. We then send a confirmation text saying you’re enrolled in Hydratelo Waterline Notes. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to use the Services or to buy anything. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Types of messages and examples

• Informational: confirmation of your request, educational information about health and beauty, reminders about topics you asked about, and service notices.
• Promotional: announcements about new guides, checklists, and Hydratelo news (only if you opted in to promotional texts).

We never ask you to reply with Social Security numbers, bank or card details, health-insurance numbers, medical details, or other sensitive details by text.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the topics you chose and the guides we publish. Most subscribers receive no more than about 8 messages per month. You may receive additional messages when you reply to us or request details.

Costs

The Program is free from Hydratelo, but message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details.

How to opt out (STOP)

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message (you may also use STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT). We will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and send no further messages unless you opt in again. Replying STOP ends your enrollment in Hydratelo Waterline Notes, which covers both informational and promotional texts if you opted in to both. You can also email us at [email protected].

How to get help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at [email protected] or 877-270-1779.

Opting back in

If you stopped messages and want to rejoin, reply START to a previous Hydratelo message or complete the opt-in form again.

Supported carriers and carrier disclaimer

The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, among them AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and many regional carriers. Carriers and their affiliates are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is under effective transmission from your carrier and your device's capabilities and coverage. Hydratelo does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time. The Program is for U.S. numbers only.

Privacy and mobile information

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information with service providers (such as our SMS platform and carriers) solely to deliver the messages and operate the Program. See our Privacy Policy.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you supply and are authorized to consent to messages on it. Please tell us if your number changes. Text messages are not encrypted, so please do not include sensitive personal or financial details in replies.

Limitation of liability and disputes

The disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions (among them arbitration and class-action waiver) in our Terms & Conditions apply to the Program. To the extent permitted by law, Hydratelo, The Nelson M Group LLC, and our service providers are not liable for any delay, failure, or misdelivery of messages, or for any damages resulting from messages sent in accordance with your consent.

Changes to these SMS Terms

We may modify these SMS Terms. We will post updates with a new "Last updated" date, and where needed we will request your renewed consent.
